The name Matsu draws inspiration from the figure "Mazu," revered in East Asian culture, especially by Chinese sailors and coastal communities, as a protector. For us, MATSU represents the idea of a connection to the sea, a journey, and a protective ritual, aligning perfectly with our skincare approach developed with marine-derived active ingredients.

Our entire skincare collection is 100% vegan. For our haircare line, we prioritize transparency; as some of our products contain keratin in their formulas, we do not claim 100% vegan in this category. However, at MATSU, we always prioritize the botanical power of the ocean (Marine Algae) over animal-derived ingredients.

No. At MATSU, we are strictly against animal testing. None of our products or ingredients have been, or ever will be, tested on animals 🐇

All our products feature a symbol (e.g., 12M) on their packaging indicating how many months they will remain fresh after opening. We recommend storing your products in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight.

"Clean Beauty" is part of our philosophy. None of our products contain parabens. When it comes to sulfates and silicones, instead of a "banned list" approach, we choose to design each formula according to its needs: in some products we use gentler cleansing systems, while in others we may include certain ingredients in a controlled manner for performance. You can review the ingredient list for all products on their respective product pages.

Most of our products are formulated to be gluten-free. However, since our production facilities may contain raw materials with gluten, we recommend that users with sensitivities review the full ingredient list (INCI) on each product page or consult their doctor.

It varies depending on the product and individual needs. Some effects may be felt from the very first use (such as hydration, softness, and a smoother appearance). For more noticeable results, consistent use is important; in most routines, the difference becomes clearly visible within 21 days.

Usage during pregnancy and breastfeeding may vary depending on individual sensitivities and the active ingredients in the routine. Our products are formulated in accordance with cosmetic regulations; however, we recommend checking the ingredient list of the product you intend to use and clarifying your routine with your doctor/dermatologist.

Our product packaging is made from recyclable PE, PP, and glass materials. Additionally, we support sustainable production by using PCR (Post-Consumer Recycled) plastic in certain products.

We ship our deliveries with the assurance of DHL Cargo. Our delivery time for major cities is usually 1-2 business days, and for other regions, it can be 3-5 business days.

We know you're eagerly awaiting your orders! Orders placed until 3:00 PM on weekdays are shipped on the same day; orders placed after this time are handed over to cargo on the next business day. Orders placed on weekends and public holidays are dispatched on the first subsequent business day.
